These forces converge on the backwater Isola Sacra, where rebel groups and the provincial government fight for control amid the isle’s crumbling ruins.

You are a Cerim – a member of a group of mystical holy warriors imbued with remarkable powers and sworn to defeat the Pestilence at any cost. You are Harold, a young lab assistant for the ship’s lead scientist, Jeanne Mareaux. While most of the ship’s inhabitants have reconciled themselves to a life lived aboard the sunken ship, Mareaux still works tirelessly to find a way for the ship to leave the planet and find a new, dryer home.

But the weird, wonderful and diverse people of the FEDORA I keep Harold busy too… Until one fateful encounter plunges Harold into a world no one could have imagined - and one that may hold the key to Mareaux’s re-launch plans.

Join Harold as he explores a vibrant retro-future world in his quest to find the true meaning of ‘home’.

The Galdean Empire has edged out other nations and discovered a technology that amplifies the rune-lenses’ magic.

It is on one such expedition that Seign Kesling, a young and gifted imperial officer, and Nowa, a boy from a remote village, meet each other and become friends.

The end is only the beginning, as beyond this arid ground lies a new realm to explore.

In this action-RPG, players will find a nostalgic and heartwarming world created by Akira Toriyama, where you will become the main character Beelzebub. Learn how to control his powers and lead your company of heroic misfits exploring the legendary world of SAND LAND. New thread :cat-heart-blob:

I was answering some posts from the other thread but it got closed before i finished:
There's an interview(?) or something out there were Nojima says that he was being restrained by Nomura and that Nomura wanted the remake to be more faithful to the original.
Nomura's been catching strays meant for Nojima for close to 30 years now. He wasn't even that involved with rebirth he's been working on part 3 since 2022 lol.

Will probably get Sand Land eventually. Finished the first 6 episodes of the the series on D+ and it's a pretty great IP. Toriyama is one of the GOATs whose work will hopefully never be forgotten and it's nice to discover some of his past work beyond Dragon Ball and Dr. Slump.

Also, Great OP, Mor

Yo Sand Land looks good. Kinda spinning my wheels this month until Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes releases later in the month. Then gonna mainline that shit like its 1999. RIP Yoshitaka Murayama.

Gonna dabble with Unicorn Overlord. Thus far the tactics seem cool but holy shit is the story forgettable.

So I was supposedly comm banned on steam. I was out of town and they don't even tell you on mobile or via email. I only noticed when I checked my profile.

By the time I got home the ban was gone and still no idea what it truly was.

I beat Titanfall 2, I liked it and it was fun, also FPS games have weird stories, especially military focused once where all I know is I kill a bad guy but I don't really know what we are doing there. Hey we just now send a single back to HQ about what the bad guys are up to and blah blah.

Any way remember to protect the pilot. I will say that at least TF2 did pretty good on that end, where you did care and grow along with BT. They likely could have done more but it just felt good enough.

I am still working on the last achievement so that I can 100% the game. It's the one where you have to place top 3 in the leader board. it will take me a while.

I think the next game that I am going to be playing is Killer7.

I did hear that for some people they don't like the idea of having to beat the game on the most hard difficulty and while it can at times be frustrating it's not impossible. at least it's not nearly as bad as Spec Ops, now that is some complete BS and you have to beat the game on hard in order to unlock the really hard game mode.... why??? I don't want to go through all of that again.

Yeah, not a huge month but there are still potential good games.
Manor Lords has some hype with the sim players, Harold Halibut could be fresh, Sand Land, Eiyuden… yeah not huge, not devoid of potential.

I doubt that KH is coming to Steam anytime soon. I doubt that there was some kind of special deal for it (if there wasn't one for FFVII Remake I really doubt that there was one for KH) so Square simply can't be bothered to put it on Steam.

New anime bread. Thanks Mor.

I haven't gotten a single good night of rest since my Steam deck came lol. When I'm not tinkering I'm hopelessly addicted to something like Balatro.

I spent 7 hours of my day already converting a CRT ReShade preset to Steam Deck/Linux, so I could play the FF Pixel Remasters on deck with a CRT filter. It was a pain, but my persistence paid off and I'm happy with my results.

No new games for me this month I think. Gotta pay the Tax man. :surrenderblob:

Thunderful is selling Headup back to the founder/ceo for 500k (after buying them for 11m a few years ago)

Thunderful has entered an agreement to sell Headup for €500,000.

The German-based developer and publisher is being bought by Microcuts Holding, which is controlled by Headup founder and CEO Dieter Schoeller, who is also Thunderful's vice president of production.

Thunderful initially acquired Headup for €11 million in 2021.

The sale will include Headup's back catalogue of around 80 titles and a pipeline of five games in development.

Thunderful will receive a revenue share of up to €300,000 on a future unannounced title as part of the agreement.

Another month I don't plan on buying anything other than maybe the Choice if it's a good one.
Still too busy with previous purchases and Genshin and Star Rail do not make going through those faster!

Also, the madlads got a Tokusatsu director to shoot a fake movie trailer for April's Fools

This rules on so many levels.

Broken Roads comes out on April 10. It's a CRPG taking place in a post-apocalyptic Australia, and takes inspiration from Disco Elysium, Pillars of Eternity, and Fallout.

It has an interesting moral compass system that isn't just good vs evil, and several player origins/backgrounds to choose from.
